Job Overview:

The Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and overseeing the distribution and market expansion strategies within an assigned region. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills to achieve business objectives and enhance the company’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Execution:

* Develop and execute regional sales plans in alignment with overall business goals.
* Monitor sales performance and identify growth opportunities within the assigned area.
* Achieve sales targets through effective team management and market strategies.
* Drive key account management and maintain relationships with top distributors, retailers, and wholesalers.

2. Team Leadership & Development:

* Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and ensure high performance.
* Monitor and assess team members’ performance and provide coaching for improvement.
* Conduct regular sales meetings and provide feedback to improve productivity.

3. Market Expansion & Distribution:

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the market footprint.
* Ensure proper distribution coverage and availability of products across the assigned region.
* Oversee route planning, sales operations, and stock management for efficient distribution.

4. Business Analytics & Reporting:

* Track regional sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
* Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.
* Analyze sales data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.

5. Stakeholder Management:

* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on promotional strategies.
* Build strong relationships with distributors, key retail partners, and local market stakeholders.
* Handle customer complaints and work towards resolution with the support of internal teams.

Work Days: 5 days a week
Off Day: Friday or Saturday
Work Hours: 9:30am-6:30pm

Job Type: Full-Time (On-Site)
Salary: Negotiable (Salary will be decided based on Experience and Performance throughout the Selection process)
