Purchase Officer

We are looking ” Purchase Officer We are looking for a Purchase Officer for a reputed Ladder Manufacturing Company.

Industry: Aluminium & Ladder Manufacturing
Experience: 2–3 Years
Salary: 20k Negotiable (Based on interview) & Other facilities as per company law
2–4 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.
Experience in manufacturing, aluminium, ladder, metal, or related industries will be preferred.
Job Location: Nababpur, Dhaka Corporate Office

Key Responsibilities
• Purchase raw materials from both national and international markets.
• Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Collect quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and finalise purchase orders.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Verify the quality, quantity, and specifications of purchased materials.
• Conduct market research to monitor raw material prices, availability, and supplier trends.
• Support cost-control initiatives and ensure purchases are made at competitive prices.
• Handle import-related purchasing and coordinate with relevant parties for international procurement when required.
• Ensure all procurement activities are conducted according to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
• BBA/MBA from a reputed university.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• Experience in manufacturing, aluminium, ladder, metal, or related industries will be preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Good knowledge of local and international sourcing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and purchase-related documentation.
