Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and proactive HR & Admin professional to lead factory-based human resources and administrative operations. The role requires strong expertise in compliance, labour law, and end-to-end HR management within the Textile/RMG industry. The ideal candidate will ensure a productive work environment, maintain regulatory compliance, and support business growth through effective people management.
Key Responsibilities
HR Management:
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee engagement
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with organisational goals and industry standards
- Manage workforce planning and manpower budgeting for factory operations
- Handle employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary actions
Compliance & Labour Law:
- Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law and international standards (e.g., buyer compliance, audits)
- Lead internal and external compliance audits (social, ethical, and regulatory)
- Maintain proper documentation for audits, inspections, and certifications
- Monitor and update HR practices as per legal and compliance requirements
Administration:
- Supervise all administrative functions, including security, transport, facility management, and vendor coordination
- Ensure proper maintenance of factory premises and employee welfare facilities
- Manage administrative budgeting and cost control
Factory HR Operations:
- Handle large-scale workforce management in a factory environment
- Ensure smooth attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and shift scheduling
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and a positive work culture on the factory floor
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of HR operations in the Textile/RMG/Fashion industry
- In-depth understanding of Bangladesh Labour Law and compliance requirements
- Experience in handling factory HR and administrative operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or relevant field
- 10–15+ years of experience in HR & Admin, preferably in the Textile/RMG industry
- Proven experience in a managerial or senior managerial role
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work in a factory-based environment (Gazipur location)
- Strong leadership presence and ability to manage large teams
- Experience with compliance standards (e.g., buyer audits, certifications) will be highly preferred
