We are hiring a Manager, International Business Development for our client to lead and oversee domestic and international sales of Agro-based products. The role involves developing effective sales strategies, exploring new export markets, and ensuring coordination among production, supply chain, and finance teams to achieve business growth.
Position: Manager, International Business Development
Location: Gulshan-1, Dhaka
Experience: 6–8 years
Compensation & Benefits: BDT 80K–100K + PF, Gratuity, Insurance, etc.
Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend: Friday & Alternate Saturday
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and export strategies to achieve business goals.
- Identify and explore new international markets, buyers, and distributors.
- Conduct market research to analyze trends, pricing, and competition.
- Set targets, prepare forecasts, and monitor performance.
- Supervise the full sales process, guide team members, and ensure timely delivery.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and international buyers.
- Manage export operations including L/C, T/T, documentation, and shipment schedules.
- Liaise with banks, C&F agents, freight forwarders, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure compliance with international trade laws and export regulations.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Production, and QA teams for smooth execution.
- Work on pricing, margin analysis, and cost evaluation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business Administration or International Trade.
- 6–8 years’ experience in sales and export of agro commodities or processed agricultural goods.
- Strong knowledge of export documentation, L/C handling, and trade compliance.
- Proven record in expanding export markets and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
