A Manager is responsible for leading the Solar system design, technical feasibility and performing techno-financial modeling to ensure project viability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize system design, maximizing energy generation and efficiency while minimizing costs.
- Perform detailed technical analysis, including shading analysis, energy yield simulations, and structural calculations to ensure designs are robust and safe.
- Perform or guide AC and DC cable sizing, earthing, and string configuration calculations.
Compliance and quality assurance
- Review and approve design documentation, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and quality before they are sent to clients or for permitting.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to inform the technical design and proposal process.
- Analyze site conditions to identify potential risks and constraints for the project.
- Create techno-financial models to assess the economic feasibility and performance of the rooftop solar project.
- Perform OpEx /CapEx analysis for clients to demonstrate project profitability.
- Possess knowledge of industrial bidding documents and other relevant project documents.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy) or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in solar photovoltaic (PV) system design, with a focus on rooftop applications.
- Expertise in solar PV system design principles and technologies.
- Proficiency with CAD software (like AutoCAD) and solar design/simulation software.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
