Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Planning (GM/DGM) to lead the planning operations for our knit garments division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of production planning, resource management, and capacity utilization within the RMG sector.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall production planning strategy aligned with order forecasts, sales targets, and factory capacity.
- Lead capacity planning, evaluate production efficiency, and recommend process improvements or expansion when needed.
- Optimize resource allocation — including manpower, machinery, and space — to achieve operational excellence.
- Oversee and maintain the Time and Action (TNA) calendar to ensure all production milestones are met efficiently.
- Focus on achieving 100% capacity utilization, minimizing WIP, and reducing excess inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet on-time delivery targets and uphold quality standards.
- Ensure continuous process improvement through data-driven decisions and performance monitoring.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Production Planning within the Knit Garments/Apparel industry.
Age Requirement: Minimum 40 years.
Compensation: Attractive Salary: 500k (Negotiable for deserving candidates)
