Job Responsibility:
- Lead and manage daily operations of the buying house across merchandising, production, quality, and logistics teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors/factories.
- Oversee product development, sampling, costing, and approvals.
- Monitor the critical path to ensure timely order execution and shipment from merchandising department, QC Department
- Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and social/technical audits.
- Provide leadership, training, and motivation to department heads and team members.
- Provide proper reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the vendor networks to support
Education and Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a buying house, sourcing office, or garment manufacturing setup, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management role.
- Strong understanding of garment manufacturing, product development, and supply chain.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with fluency in English.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of international compliance standards and audit requirements.
