Job Responsibility:
• Lead and manage daily operations of the buying house across merchandising, production, quality, and logistics teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors/factories.
• Oversee product development, sampling, costing, and approvals.
• Monitor the critical path to ensure timely order execution and shipment from merchandising department, QC Department
• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and social/technical audits.
• Provide leadership, training, and motivation to department heads and team members.
• Provide proper reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the vendor networks to support
Education and Other Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a buying house, sourcing office, or garment manufacturing setup, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management role.
• Strong understanding of garment manufacturing, product development, and supply chain.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with fluency in English.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of international compliance standards and audit requirements.
• Honest and Trustworthy, Pro-active and reliable and dependable.
Salary:
150k and Negotiable
