We are seeking a Director in the Administration department for a well-known and reputable Educational Institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Career Services Coordination
- Coordinate the Annual Career Fair and manage comprehensive internship and career placement programs.
- Create an effective internship program.
- Create an effective career placement program.
- Develop and maintain a database of internship and career opportunities.
- Compile and distribute Resume Books to recruiters and hiring managers.
- Prepare Resume Books and send those to recruiters and hiring managers.
- Track and provide regular updates on the career progress of graduates while maintaining the database.
Skills Development and Workshops
- Organize grooming sessions, interview workshops, and the development of training modules.
- Facilitate Elevator Speech competitions.
- Organize and create interview workshops and modules.
- Organize and coordinate grooming sessions.
- Organize seminars, workshops, and curriculum development meetings, inviting experts from relevant industries.
Collaboration and Liaison
- Collaborate with Deans to establish and monitor internship deliverables.
- Serve as a liaison with academic Deans and Admissions to attract high-quality undergraduate and graduate students.
- Maintain liaison with the academic Deans and Admissions in their efforts to recruit high-quality graduate and undergraduate students.
Alumni Engagement and Relations
- Assist in implementing the Honors Program and oversee Alumni Relations.
- Engage alumni through networking, events, and guest talks on career choices and job market trends.
- Coordinate Alumni Events.
- Coordinate the interface between Alumni and Students (Alumni Day).
- Network with the Alumni Base.
Program Evaluation and Industry Engagement
- Conduct an annual employability survey to evaluate students’ market position and collect ranking-related data.
- Conduct yearly meetings with industry leaders to understand advancements and trends in various disciplines.
- Coordinate corporate site visits aligned with the strategic interests of constituent colleges.
- Initiate a Professional Mentors’ Program and Professional Development Programs for students.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or MBA from a recognized university with a commendable academic record.
- Minimum of 15 years of senior administrative experience in reputed organizations, including at least 3 years in student-focused roles within a reputable private university.
- High level of English Language Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
- Demonstrated experience in student placement for internships and jobs.
- Strong corporate and social networking skills.
